Role Description
This is a full-time Co-Founder role located in Vancouver, BC, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Co-Founder, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, developing strategies for revenue growth, and leading business development initiatives. The Co-Founder will also act as an Investment Counsellor / Portfolio Manager for the firm.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with experience in investment management or finance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven sales and marketing experience in financial services
- Ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis on market trends and investment opportunities
- A passion for creating innovative solutions and a drive to succeed in a highly competitive industry
- Outstanding leadership skills and ability to build effective teams
- Experience in socially responsible investing or ESG strategies is a plus
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
Additional Consideration
The successful candidate is a self-starter, has a passion for the wealth management industry, and experience in private wealth and/or institutional clients. This is a great opportunity for an advisor looking to join an entrepreneurial investment management firm. The person in this role is part of the investment team at Orientime and acts as the primary relationship manager for clients. The Investment Counsellor works in collaboration with the team and provides our clients tailored investments solutions.
A professional designation such as CFA or CIM is required as well as a minimum of three to five years of experience in a similar role. The expectation is that you are eligible for licensing with the provincial securities regulators as a portfolio manager/advising representative.
