Functional Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret data to assess a company’s performance across environmental, social and governance dimensions
- Research and gather relevant information on companies’ ESG practices from various sources, such as reports, regulatory filings, and third-party data providers
- Interact with customers to understand their business drivers and growth plans, etc
- Create a comprehensive note assessing the ESG risk of the customer, including a recommendation for the ESG rating
- Create necessary reports, including rating rationale, detailed rating report, for internal and external consumption
- Adhere to the methodology for assigning ESG ratings, while considering industry-specific factors and evolving standards, including highlighting areas of positive or negative impact, as relevant in specific cases
- Provide inputs to other colleagues / collaborate with colleagues in area of expertise, to support holistic ESG analysis at organization level
- Communicate findings and analysis effectively through reports, presentations, and discussions
- Participate in ESG related projects and initiatives (internal as well as external) to enhance and strengthen the firm’s ESG rating methodology and framework

- Strong grasp over financial analysis, data interpretation and research methodologies

Qualifications
Engineering in Computer Science or Information Technology, or Masters in relevant field like Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data analysis
Experience
At least 6-8 years of relevant experience
