Pay Range: $43,000-$60,000

What You’ll Do (Essential Duties And Responsibilities)

  • Analyze records of the company, its subsidiaries, and departments and interview management and staff to ensure effective and efficient controls and compliance with applicable agreements, laws and regulations.
  • Support the end-to-end process of developing sustainability and ESG reports in partnership with a cross-functional team of stakeholders. This includes the processes for collecting, managing and summarizing the content for inclusion in reports, content development, editing, reviews and approvals, data collection, and report design.
  • Track, analyze, and report on metrics in support of ESG initiatives. Research, develop, and manage philanthropic projects consistent with the company’s values.
  • Prepare presentations and supporting materials for executive audiences.
  • Monitor relevant ESG trends, including the ESG ratings and rankings, reporting frameworks, sustainability reporting standards and disclosure legislation, and provide recommendations for how these developments impact the company.
  • Assist with annual and periodic employee compliance training (induction & ad hoc).
  • Inspect company assets and review records to determine degree to which they are utilized and safeguarded.
  • Analyze data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in internal controls, duplication of effort, extravagance, indicators of fraud, or lack of compliance with laws, government regulations, agreements and management policies or procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

What You’ll Need (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience (i.e., sustainability and ESG, finance, accounting, management consulting, risk and data management). Professional certification is preferred.
  • Previous experience in corporate sustainability/ESG reporting and project management, or general corporate project management with demonstrated interest in ESG issues.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 20% within the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific is required.
  • Working greater than 40 hours is expected, specifically at times surrounding critical deadlines.
